Access is normally planned through EBB, using private road transfers, scheduled flights, charter flights or lodge-arranged transfers depending on itinerary level. Confirm baggage limits, airstrip status, pickup points and transfer duration before issuing a final quote.

Uganda is equatorial, green and often humid, with rain possible in forest and mountain areas at any time. Forest trekking destinations are cooler and wetter than savannah parks, so weatherproof gear is important. Forest and mountain activities can be wet, cool and slippery even in the preferred trekking months.

Pack lightweight safari clothing, waterproof layers, sturdy trekking boots, gaiters or long socks for forest walks, garden gloves for gorilla or chimpanzee trekking, insect repellent and a soft-sided bag for touring.

Build the itinerary around the main experience rather than rushing through Ishasha Sector.
