Arrival in Arusha/Kilimanjaro

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure to explore the town or relax at the hotel.

Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, you will transfer to the grand Safari Express Train (operating on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays) for a comfortable journey to Mikumi National Park. This train, equipped with onboard showers, will ensure a smooth start to your safari. Upon arrival at Selous Game Reserve, a vehicle will transfer you to the Vuma Hills Tented Camp in Mikumi. After settling in, enjoy your first game drive in a customized 4x4 vehicle, guided by an expert.

This programme covers day 3 of the mikumi national park section. Spend the next two days immersing yourself in Mikumi’s wilderness with morning and afternoon game drives. After each thrilling game drive, return to the Vuma Hills Camp to relax and enjoy your meals in the serene environment.
